We are a community of scientists who are curious about consciousness, spirituality, and the nature of our reality. We seek to better understand all aspects of our experience, acknowledging that all of us have experienced phenomena that we cannot explain and do not fully comprehend but are nevertheless real. In humbly accepting how little we know, we are guided by curiosity, science, and and open mind to seek a deeper understanding of ourselves.
This community was founded by two neuroscientists, Mona Sobhani and Allison Paradise. It began at the 2022 Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego, where over 50 neuroscientists spent the morning discussing science and spirituality.
